Linear slots are mounted in walls and ceilings comfortably because of their minimal design and shape.
Linear Slot Diffusers
Application
Linear slot diffusers are mostly used to distribute the air in places with longer lengths. In addition, ceiling slot diffusers are more common than wall ones. These diffusers are made of aluminum profile and produced in various standard dimensions from one to six slots among which the popularity of 2 and 3-slot diffusers are more than other ones. Furthermore, the opening and closing of these diffusers’ black movable blades make the horizontal and vertical air distribution patterns. Proper and constant air distribution throughout the length of the diffuser is one of the advantages of plenum box and linear slot diffusers’ combination. However, blades can not be utilized to adjust exhaust air volume. To control the exhaust air volume of linear slot diffusers, hit and miss dampers are mounted in each slot.
Installation
Linear slot diffusers are mounted into the ceilings by supporting clamps and adjustable screws without of which on diffusers’ surface leads to architectural beauty. Each blade of slot diffuser is produced with a width of 4cm, for instance, the length of a 2-slot diffuser is 8cm. Furthermore, if the length is greater than 3m these diffusers are produced in pieces with open ends and are connected when installing.
